JCCFS Willard Baxter Woodturning Studio

Grand Opening April 21, 2007

The Willard Baxter Woodturning Studio was officially opened on Saturday, April 21, 2007. Over 125 people attended.

The studio is now a world-class facility. It is amazingly well-equipped, including 10 new large lathes (8 Powermatic 3520s and 2 Oneways) and 10 new Jet mini-lathes. Note that if you want to go to a class, you should sign up as soon as possible, because the schedule for the rest of the year, and into next year, is filling up quickly. Each club, as well as each of the individuals who contributed, has a leaf on the Tree of Life donor wall. Additional donations may be made directly to the Folk School.
