Thanks to everyone that attended, we had another 'great' Symposium. 278 total in attendance, and raised $8,675 at the Auction, the proceeds of which go towards awarding 7 full scholarships to the John C. Campbell Folk School. Sincere thanks to all the people that participated in winning the bids at the Auction.

• Our 4 featured demonstrators - Betty Scarpino, John Mascoll, Graeme Priddle, and Avelino Samuel. Thanks for giving of your time and special talents to share with the attendees.

The Southern States website was designed by Jimmy Irvin and his son Will at Irvin Web Solutions. The site will be updated in the fall, and again in January 2009, as we begin the '09 Symposium. Thanks guys, for a nice job!
